my prayer requests are going to be unspoken requests. let's just say that i am an 18 year old girl who has been through a lot of not so good things in her lifetime. for example: i was raped on january 18th, 2007 and i used to self mutilate. so, prayers would be greatly appreciated. may God Bless You all always in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

It is never selfish to ask Jesus for help. There is a story in the new testament where Jesus heals two blind men. Like the blind men in this story you have to believe that Jesus can heal you.
As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him. They called to out, "Have mercy on us son of David!" When Jesus went indoors, the blind men came to him. He asked them, "Do you believe that I can do this?" "Yes, Lord!" they replied. Then he touched their eyes. He said, "It will happen to you just as you believed." They could now see again. Matthew 9:28-29

You most definitely have my prayers. Asking Jesus for help is not selfish, we must understand that it is a noble thing to recognize that you need Christs help.......and ask for it

I struggle with the same feelings sometimes. Guilt, and feeling sometimes like I am not worth it. But because God loves us so much, we are all infinately loved and worth it to Him. Remember that even when we feel down, God is right there, and He never wants to hurt our feelings or us in any way. He loves us so much. And it's ok to need Him in our life. I have found that asking the Holy Spirit into my life and asking Him to intercede has helped me in my toughest times. The Holy Spirit is there to teach us God's word, to intercede for us, and generally help us in tons of different ways. I just ask Him to intercede for me, then trust Him to do so and open my mouth and wait for the prayers of the Holy Spirit, because His prayers are perfect, reflecting the perfect will of God. It's something that gives me great comfort.
