My Dad passed away January 16th, 2008.
This prayer request is not for my Dad. He's in a much better place, free from pain and at peaceful rest (which is desperately desired). He is now with my Mom (deceased in 2002) whom he sorely missed, his Earthly father (1952) and his Mother (1985) but most of all he is with Jesus Christ. For this I am truely extremely happy for my Dad.
However, I will miss him and the next few weeks and months are going to be extremely hard for me and my sisters. My father pre-arranged as much as he good to make his passing as stress free as possible but still we are going to have to sell the house and go through many of his earthly possessions. Also just the emotional stress of both of our parents now gone will take a while to get used too. God truly blessed us with great parents, both Christian who sacrificed a great deal of their own comfort and peace for their children and grand-children. You're prayers in dealing with this will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Jonathan.
His funeral was today and he had many friends and relatives who attended. He was a greatly loved and admired man.

Thank you.
Your reply reminded me of something. My sister had to be enduced into labor the day after my Dad died (it had already been scheduled for that day). She and the baby, a girl, were fine. My brother-in-law, saw a balloon in the hospital gift shop that was perfect for the occassion and he bought it.
It said: When God closes one door He opens another.

God bless you , Jesus is Lord .
