God promised that when He takes me to Alabama to work and be with family, He has a cat, an american shorthair, picked out just for me. I have wanted a cat for a while now, but where I am living now I can't have pets. God knew how much I wanted a cat and He is providing one for me. I have a cat in Alabama. Just haven't brought him home to me yet. It's hard to wait because I am so excited, but I am looking forward to this so much.

Awh Im delighted to hear you are getting a cat! I LOVE cats! They are so cute and affectionate. I love dogs too but cats purring is very comforting.
All things are possible to God.

Awww I love cats! I have one actually. Her name is Jenny and she's soooooo affectionate and such a cuddlebug!

You're coming to my neck of the woods eh?
I have two cats. I got them when I was in Texas...so being born there they are true Texans, lol. Anyway they are twelve years old, at least chronologically. They still act like they're twelve weeks old. Arthur, my male solid black longhair is very affectionate. Sometimes too much so. He likes to rub his head against my beard. Sara is my Siamese girl. She's loving too but a bit fickle at times. I'm crazy about my cats.
I also have three dogs and half thinking of getting another. I've been wanting a toy size dog and my cousin's wife has a two year old Pom-mix that is perfect. I just don't know if I should try getting another dog though. My three are a handful....well more than two arms full really.

Seriously, I don't think I want to bother with caged animals again. at least not until I can get home employed and a better home. I had two ferretts and though they are cool pets it was just too much time, effort and work to keep and maintain them. Thanks for the suggestion though. |
