anyone here into english riding and interested in the Olympics next summer in Beijing? I am training about 5 x per week in hunt seat. I have a goal to be in the Olympics in about 15 years. I would love to win a medal but even competing at that level would be enough for me. I have a show coming up on Sept 22nd.

I first started off learning Dressage, and then I learned a hunt seat. Unfortunately, I came down with mono (no idea how I got it) and had to give up riding for a while, since my liver and spleen were enlarged the risk of falling off was too serious. I would love to get back into it, someday, but as for now school is my life lol . That would be such an amazing experience to compete in the Olympics! Keep up the hard work, and you'll find yourself there sooner than you think! And I would love to hear how the show went.

I worked a bit today with my trainer but had yesterday off because I had a guitar recital. I am on a very hard headed gelding and he is my trainers horse that I am showing this time.He has placed in the top before but he has not been able to come back fully from an injury and I am worried a bit that he's going to hold me back. I hope to show another couples horse this winter in Denver. I haven't been able to get my parents to okay this yet. Thanks for the support! I am focused on being the best at this sport I can be. Even if I just try out for the Olympics team....
