He has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Surgery is scheduled for Dec 27th--snow season when driving conditions can be very poor. Pray the LORD grants us good weather.
The surgery itself has a 75 percent chance of getting all of the cancer without requiring additional therapies. Pray that the surgeon can take all of the cancer in one shot. The hospital is 135 miles from home. That is a long drive in snow.

Well hopefully you will not have to make the ride in snow. I will be praying for no snow and for no more cancer. Keep the faith, hope and trust in God. May He bless you.

Check out my new signature. Satan will hang himself with this cancer business. It has already drawn my husband and I closer together and closer to the LORD.
The LORD never allows anything we can't handle.

That's the second time today that I've heard that saying of how the Lord never gives us more than we can handle, it is so true. And yes, Satan is only harming himself, for Christ has the power of healing!

It is entirely possible that the doctors could find the cancer dead on their preop physical. I had a disease just wither up and die last year in response to prayer.

It looks like God is going to be dodging us around a storm or some other bad event, so the dates were moved up.
Pre Op physical 15th of December. Surgery 23rd of December. Some might moan and say Robert's going to be in the hospital over Christmas. The best Christmas gift I can have right now is getting all of the cancer out of his body in one shot.
